Elder
John A. McCullough, Jr. is the eminent Senior Pastor of Friendship
Christian Church, Gastonia, North Carolina. He is a native of Charlotte,
North Carolina where he received his secondary education. Holding
a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy, he is an alumnus of
Shaw University. He continued his education at Hood Theological Seminary
thereby receiving a Masters of Divinity.
Elder
McCullough serves in various capacities in the community. He holds
membership with the following organizations: Gaston County Chamber
of Commerce, Downtown Faith Network, Gaston Together, and Gaston
2012. He is a founding father of the North Carolina Pastor’s
Consortium. Pastor McCullough is also the founder of Fresh Start
of Gaston County, Inc. -- an economic development corporation.
As directed by the Great Commission to “go
ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost,” Pastor
McCullough preaches the Gospel via several different media forms.
He can be heard spreading the good news on local radio stations.
Elder McCullough was duly ordained as an Elder in
the Lord’s Church by the Father’s Council under the
auspices of His Grace, Bishop Anthony L. Jinwright, on January 28,
2006. Elder McCullough’s spiritual goals are to spread the
Gospel to mankind on all levels, to promote economic development
in the community through the Church, and to be used by God as an
instrument making a positive impact on those he serves and meets.
Elder McCullough is married to his best friend and
ministry partner, the former Dekota Grier. They are blessed with
two children, Jonathan and Jessica.

Elder
McCullough is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated
from Myers Park High School. She is presently serving full-time at
Friendship Christian Church as the Director of Ministries. This occupation
was assumed early 2002 after serving as Principal at Reid Park Elementary
School in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Elder
McCullough received her Bachelors Degree in Intermediate Education
from North Carolina Central University, Durham, NC. She received
her Masters Degree in Education Administration from the University
of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is a member of the National
Association of Educators, the Association of Secondary Schools Principals,
the National Middle Schools Association, and Delta Sigma Theta,
Sorority, Inc.
Elder
McCullough and her husband Elder McCullough are the blessed parents
of Jonathan De'Olin and Jessica Danielle.
